Darío leads Venture Capital Archive as Director & Author, mapping the people, funds, and capital sources behind European venture and writing about how the industry actually works. He authors the Venture Capital Archive newsletter, publishing weekly on capital, funds, and the mechanics of venture. He's also a Principal at Armilar Venture Partners, one of Europe's longest-standing deeptech VC firms, where he leads investments across Iberia. Before Armilar, he spent over a decade across the venture ecosystem. From Seedstars and Swanlaab to leading investments at a single-family office, giving him a rare view of capital from nearly every seat at the table. He's also a Kauffman Fellow and co-author of El Libro de la Innovación.
