Nicola Sinclair

Nicola is the General Partner of Twin Track Ventures, a London-based venture capital fund backing early-stage dual-use deep tech across defence, security, and commercial markets. Before moving into venture capital, she spent two decades in the Royal Air Force, working in operational roles, capability development, and international projects, including time with the British delegation at NATO headquarters. She also founded the Air Innovation Fund, helping more than 20 pre-seed and seed deep tech companies secure defence contracts in the UK and US. Nicola writes about venture capital, defence technology, deep tech, and the challenges of turning breakthrough technologies into scalable businesses. She is also a co-founder of the Quantum Investors Network and author of the annual Working with Defence & Security report.
