Ilya A. Strebulaev is the David S. Lobel Professor of Private Equity and Professor of Finance at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he has taught since 2004, and the Founder and Director of the Stanford GSB Venture Capital Initiative. A leading researcher in venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial finance, he studies how investors evaluate opportunities, make decisions, and create value in private markets. He also serves as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and has published extensively on venture capital and private equity, bringing an academic perspective to the forces shaping startup financing and investment markets.
