Manager's Experience
Founded in 2013 by Pejman Nozad (Founding Managing Partner, early investor in Dropbox) and Mar Hershenson (Founder Managing Partner, Stanford PhD and founder of Pyxis Technology, later acquired by Magma Design Automation). The partner group includes Ajay Kamat, Arash Afrakhteh, Harris Stolzenberg, Khalil Fuller (also Head of Dorm), Pepe Agell, Ryan Sells, Shravan Reddy and Shruti Merchant, with Andrew Parambath, Eddie Eltoukhy and Warren Shaeffer as Venture Partners and Mark Valdez as COO. Portfolio includes DoorDash, Gusto, Cognition, Vanta, Affinity and Guardant Health. Based in San Francisco and Menlo Park. A pre-seed and seed firm of former founders and operators that runs the PearX program and the Pear Dorm, with dedicated circles for female and Persian founders.
