Manager's Experience

Zero Shot Fund is co-founded by five general partners with deep OpenAI roots — Evan Morikawa, Andrew Mayne, and Shawn Jain (all OpenAI alumni from before the ChatGPT launch through its wildest growth years), joined by Kelly Kovacs and Brett Rounsaville. Evan was an engineering leader, Andrew was a prompt engineer and science communicator, and Shawn was a member of the technical staff. Kelly and Brett bring venture and operator experience, with the firm additionally advised by OpenAI's former head of people Diane Yoon and former head of communications Steve Dowling.
