Weekend Fund invests in early-stage companies capitalizing on consumer behavior or technology shifts, writing $100K-$300K checks into pre-seed and seed startups around the world across consumer and B2B; takes a collaborative co-investing approach without leading rounds, helping founders with product, community building, and go-to-market strategy through the LP collective network
Manager's Experience
Ryan Hoover (Founding Partner) founded Product Hunt in 2013, sold it to AngelList in 2016 for $20 million, served as CEO post-acquisition until 2020, started his career as a product manager in the gaming industry, and is a contributing writer for the book Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products. He was an early investor in Deel which became a multi-billion dollar company. Vedika Jain (Partner) joined as Chief of Staff in 2019, has a product management background with prior experience at TrueLayer, Stripe, Mithril Capital, Kalaari Capital, and Kairos Society. The fund is backed by 350+ LPs including Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, Chris and Crystal Sacca, Hunter Walk, Kevin Rose, and Garry Tan.
