Manager's Experience
Founded in 2009 by Joshua Kushner, who was 24 at the time and also co-founded Oscar Health. Nitin Nohria, former dean of Harvard Business School, became executive chairman in 2022, and press coverage names Kareem Zaki and Vince Hankes as partners, Miles Grimshaw as West Coast partner, and Nabil Mallick as chief operating officer. Closed Thrive X, its tenth fund, at more than $10B in February 2026, with about $50B in assets according to unnamed sources. Portfolio includes OpenAI, Stripe, SpaceX, Databricks, Cursor, Anduril, Ramp, Wiz, GitHub, Spotify, Scale AI, and Physical Intelligence. Headquartered in the Puck Building in Manhattan.
