Investment Thesis

Protego Ventures is a growth-stage venture capital firm and Israel's first fund dedicated exclusively to defence technology. It backs companies from Series A onwards that already have product-market fit and work with government agencies, across sensors, cybersecurity, AI and machine learning, drones and UAVs, with cheques of $5M to $20M. Led by Lital Leshem (Co-founder and Managing Partner), who co-founded Carbyne before its $625M sale to Axon, and Lee Moser (Co-founder and General Partner), a founding partner of AnD Ventures and former chief of staff to Ambassador Michael Oren. Closed its debut fund at $125M with Israeli institutions and US investors including Ares Management.
