Manager's Experience
Founded in 2015 by Javier Santiso (CEO and General Partner, PhD from Oxford, formerly CEO Europe at Khazanah) and Moisés Sánchez (CLO and General Partner, previously at Garrigues). Santiso was previously managing director at Telefónica, where he set up the €400M Amerigo fund-of-funds and created the Wayra accelerator network. Madrid-headquartered with a Paris office. Manages €1.5 billion in assets, with Insurtech Fund II targeting €250M and a LatAm Fund I first close announced in 2026. Mapfre is the principal investor in the Alma Mundi insurtech vehicle. Portfolio includes Wefox, Element, Bolttech, Betterfly, Descartes, Luko, Asistensi, Job&Talent, Clarity and Akko.
