Manager's Experience

Part of the Merantix group, founded in 2016 in Berlin by Rasmus Rothe, who holds a PhD in computer vision from ETH Zurich, and Adrian Locher, a serial founder who has co-founded more than ten companies. Nicole Büttner, CEO of Merantix Momentum, is a founding partner. Closed a €103M AI fund in June 2026, roughly three times its first venture studio fund. Operates the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin, home to 100+ AI companies, and a London AI hub. Portfolio includes Droidrun, Vara, Deltia and Cambrium.
