HighScale Ventures is a US-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in April 2021 and headquartered in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The firm was created as a GP-led secondary spin-out from Transamerica Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Transamerica and its parent company Aegon. Co-founded by former Transamerica Ventures leads Georg Schwegler and Andrew Pitz, HighScale's debut fund acquired the existing Transamerica Ventures portfolio in a transaction backed by Montana Capital Partners, converting a captive corporate book into an independent GP with a seasoned base of assets.
