Manager's Experience
Katie Haun (Founder & CEO) spent over a decade as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, leading high-profile prosecutions including the Silk Road task force, the 2012 Hells Angels murder trial, and Nuestra Familia RICO takedown, and established the DOJ's first digital currency task force; she clerked for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, taught at Stanford Law and Stanford GSB, joined Andreessen Horowitz as General Partner in 2018 where she co-led their crypto franchise across three funds with billions under management, and served as Coinbase's first independent director from 2017 to 2024. Diogo Mónica (General Partner) co-founded and built Anchorage Digital and previously led platform security at Block (formerly Square) and Docker. Chris Ahn was previously a Partner at Index Ventures investing in Notion, Figma, and Fireblocks, before that at GitHub. The team also includes Suzanne (former Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman, prior VP at TPG, started at Goldman Sachs) and Kevin (former CFO at NFX, prior at Allvue Systems and Deloitte).
