Organized in 2005 by Peter Thiel and Ken Howery, both PayPal co-founders (Howery was the first CFO and later a U.S. ambassador), and Luke Nosek, who left in 2017 to found Gigafund. Partners include Napoleon Ta, Trae Stephens, Lauren Gross (Partner and COO), Scott Nolan, John Luttig, Matias Van Thienen, Delian Asparouhov, Amin Mirzadegan, Joey Krug, Sean Liu, and Ryan Beiermeister.
