Eastend Ventures is a pre-seed and seed stage venture capital firm backing founders in Australian markets that most local VC overlooks. It invests across defence, space, biotech, enterprise software, resources tech, supply chain, energy transition, B2B SaaS, fintech, agritech and health tech, at sensible valuations and with trade-sale exits in mind. Manager's Experience

Founded in Adelaide, Australia, as South Australia's first unconditional ESVCLP. Led by Josh Garratt (Co-founder and Partner), founder of the Southern Angels network, which has invested A$11.5M in 35 companies since 2018, and JD Sheard (Co-founder and Partner), a Canadian entrepreneur who scaled and exited an international oil and gas services and technology business. Sarah Shelton leads portfolio success. The founders committed more than A$2M of their own money to the A$30M Fund 1, which is backed by Funds SA. Has backed 16 companies across its pilot and first fund, with one exit.
