Manager's Experience
E2D is a joint initiative launched by Armilar Venture Partners (AVP) and Earlybird Venture Capital, two of Europe's most established venture capital firms. Hendrik Brandis (Co-Founder, Earlybird Venture Capital) co-founded Earlybird in 1997 building it into one of Europe's leading multi-stage venture capital firms with €2B+ AUM and notable exits including Wallapop, N26, UiPath (IPO), and Peak Games (acquired by Zynga). Joaquim Sérvulo Rodrigues (Founding Partner, Armilar Venture Partners) co-founded AVP in 2000 and built it into Southern Europe's leading deeptech VC with €1B+ AUM across multiple funds. The €500M target fund focuses on European dual-use and defence growth-stage opportunities, supporting Europe's sovereign technology capabilities across cybersecurity, aerospace, autonomous systems, and AI sectors.
