Manager's Experience

Rupa Ganatra Popat (Founder & Managing Partner) has over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and investment banking, started her career as an investment banker, founded and exited her previous venture FUTR, which was acquired by Pico Group in 2019, and has invested in 30 startups and seven emerging managers as an angel investor. She runs the ÁVA Investment Academy training new angel and venture capital investors. The fund received a £5 million commitment from British Business Investments, a subsidiary of British Business Bank, with a second close at £18.2 million. The team operates across London, Dubai, and Riyadh.
