Investment Thesis
Anthology Fund is a later-stage, co-investment vehicle for Menlo Ventures' Limited Partners, focusing on providing growth capital to the most promising companies within Menlo's existing early-stage portfolio. The fund targets breakout, category-defining companies across sectors like AI, Cloud Infrastructure, FinTech, Marketplaces, and SaaS. Its unique model offers LPs curated access to double down on proven winners as they scale, leveraging Menlo's deep conviction and established relationships with the portfolio companies.
Manager's Experience
The fund is led by Menlo Ventures partners Greg Martin, a serial entrepreneur who founded cybersecurity companies Anomali and JASK (acquired by Sumo Logic), and Croom Beatty, who has been instrumental in investments like Poshmark (IPO) and Pillpack (acquired by Amazon). They are supported by an investment committee of seasoned Menlo partners, leveraging the parent firm's 46+ year history. The team combines deep operational experience in building companies with a strong venture investment track record.
